PLAYS
I have written multiple stage plays, including three full length plays, an original pantomime, two one act plays, and several short plays and monologues ranging from 1-15 minutes in length. Some plays are also suitable for audio.

Bad Reception
Up in a small village in remote Inverness, you’ll find a tiny hotel run by the eccentric Duncan Ross and his long suffering wife, Mandy. When two warring sisters arrive for a post-funeral holiday with an unbearable mother-in-law, chaos ensues! Throw in an odd travel writer, some escaping parrots, a dark secret, and a chef you’d rather you never met, and you’ve booked yourself a stay at the Verness Hotel.
So check in, grab a drink and prepare for a weekend you’ll never forget.

True North
Margaret, a single mother whose son has left home to live in London, calls to tell him the latest gossip from their small Cumbrian town. She tells her son about her progressing love life - the first development since losing her husband many years earlier.

This Old Tin Roof
Jennifer grew up in her local theatre. She came of age, fell in love, had her heart broken, and mended it again, all in her local theatre with it's tin roof. Every kind of emotion has come to pass under this old tin roof; the roof that makes the sound of thunder when it rains.

A Dream Come True
Olivia is a girl who daydreams. We all daydream - but Olivia's daydreams are different; they have a tendancy to come true! Is it all imagined? Or is it magic?

Wrong Side Of The Line
Working in the telesales part of a mail order company can be a challenge; there are crazy customers, automated annoyances and cruel colleagues. Ben knows all this, and he’s always considered himself prepared for any situation. But there was no way he could have ever prepared himself for Bill Vaughan.

SHED
Stan Jackson is a peculiar man who is so proud of his garden shed that he can only communicate using the word “shed”. When local postman Steven attempts to deliver a parcel to Stan and his equally strange wife Hilary, and both the parcel and the shed turn out to be an elaborate trap, Steven finds himself a key part of a bizarre childhood fantasy as he fights for his freedom... and maybe, his life.

Pantomania
After their original panto stories, all the classic panto villains were banished from Pantoland to the real world, and the heroes were free to live their happily every after. But when the children in the real world start going missing, the panto heroes journey to the real world to confront the villains and save the children. But, will they end up uniting with them instead... against an even worse foe?

Improving Things Inconveniently
A funny play of romance, adventure and mystery, Improving Things Inconveniently follows Jenny, a teenage girl who wakes up one morning to find she can walk through any door straight into one of the stories her father used to tell her when she was younger. As she weaves her way through a zoo full of plotting animals, a film of her own life, and even an Ancient Egyptian betrothal, she might just find exactly what she wants.
